About Us
NZ Eco Electric Ltd is a family run company based in Wolsingham in Weardale, County Durham. The company was established in 2010 when, having built up a good name in the North-East as an electrical contractor trading as NZ Electrical, we added solar pv installations to our repertoire and changed the company name to reflect its new direction towards renewables.
Over the following years we have built up a loyal client base almost entirely by word-of-mouth by providing a professional, reliable service at a competitive price. We have weathered the Feed-in-Tariff storms which saw so many solar panel installers fall by the wayside and now cover a large part of the North of England carrying out on-grid and off-grid installations, repairs and maintenance.
Our mission is to provide a professional, friendly, bespoke service to our clients at a consistently high level. Most of our business comes from long-term existing clients, so we are confident we are getting something right. NZ Eco Electric Ltd is committed to ongoing professional training to ensure that knowledge and skills are kept up to date in a fast-changing sector. Our aim is always to provide workmanship that we are proud to stand behind.
